Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James is excited to play alongside fellow superstars Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love in the upcoming 2015-16 NBA season after failing to win it all last season.

James posted a photo of him alongside Love and Irving on Instagram, where he said that he is eager to get on the floor with the two superstars again next season.

"Man I can't wait to get back on the floor again with you two guys," James wrote, referring to Love and Irving. "Last year was just a sample size of what we're capable of and I'm so hyped thinking about what's next."

The three superstars, arguably the best trio in the league, struggled early last season, but they got into the groove midway through their first year together.

According to NBC Sports, the three superstars played a total of 1,441 minutes together on the hardcourt and they outscored their opponents by 13.6 points per 48 minutes.

They also had an offensive rating of 113.5 points per 100 possessions for the entire season, which is better than the offensive rating of the Los Angeles Clippers, who had the best offense in the league last season at 109.8 points per 100 possessions.

But not only that, they went +14.7 after the All-Star break and when they are all on the court, the Cavaliers limited their opponents to just 99.2 points per 100 possessions.

Heading into the 2015 NBA Playoffs, the Cavaliers were considered favorites to win it all after their strong performance after the All-Star break.

However, Love, who averaged 16.4 points and 9.7 rebounds per game last season, went down with a season-ending shoulder injury in Game 4 of their first-round series against the Boston Celtics.

Without Love, the Cavaliers still managed to advance to the 2015 NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors. Unfortunately, Irving also suffered a season-ending knee injury in Game 1 of the finals, which hurt their chances of winning the title. The Warriors took the title in six games.

After their first year together in Cleveland, James and Love became free agents in July. There were speculations that Love will sign elsewhere because of his uncertain relationship with James, but the former UCLA standout eventually signed a lucrative five-year deal worth $110 million.

James, on the other hand, inked a fresh two-year deal worth $46.9 million. Irving's future in Cleveland was already secured last year, when he signed a five-year, $90 million contract.
