Sony's next gen game console will soon be available with a Metal Gear Solid 5 theme, PlayStation announces on Twitter.

Game creator Hideo Kojima earlier hinted on a limited edition PS4 on Twitter. Dual Shockers reports that Kojima initially tweeted limited editions of the PSP and PS3 which were all made for his previous games.

Kojima later tweeted, "[SONY] × [PS4] × [MGS GZ] collaboration initiative is in progress. More information at a later date." Now, it seems that the date has come sooner than later.

According to PlayStation Japan's tweet, the PS4 Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Fox Edition game console will be released in Japan on March 20. Bundled with the PS4 title, the combo costs 46,980 yen or roughly $450.

The Metal Gear Solid Five-themed PS4 features a Foxhound decal plastered on top of the Sony console, denoting the game's Force Operation X (FOX) motif, says Trusted Reviews. Metal Gear Solid Five's logo and the PS4 logo is also seen in the glossy upper portion of the console.

Although the limited edition has been confirmed for a Japan release, there is no news of the Metal Gear Solid 5-inspired PS4 console making its way to the US just yet.

However, the game has been confirmed for a 2014 release in the US late last year. The Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain prequel releases March 18, 2014 for $19.99 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions and $29.99 for the PS4 and the Xbox One, says IGN.

Fans of the game who are looking forward to play the title on the PS4 will no doubt be pleased as Kojima also said that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will offer 1080p Full HD gameplay at 60 frames per second on the PS4.

However, Xbox One gamers will be a bit dismayed as the upcoming title will only run 720p HD on the Microsoft game console, says Pocket Lint.
