What in the world is wrong with Justin Timberlake?

This seems to be the question circulating around New York after the famous pop star canceled a performance in the Big Apple on Wednesday night.

Timberlake tweeted about the cancellation -- which had to do with unspecified health issues -- on Wednesday, but the star barely gave enough notice for any of the concert ticketholders to change plans.

"Hey NY. There is never an easy way to do this... Unfortunately, I have to postpone tonight's show to Friday due to health reasons," he said in his first tweet.

Although many people usually wonder whether the celebrities themselves manage their Twitter accounts, Timberlake seemed to take the time to post these tweets himself considering the initials at the end of the following tweet.

"I am truly sorry to everyone that have tickets for tonight. It kills me to have to do this. I hope to see you all on Friday. -JT"

The cancellation undoubtedly has raised questions about whether there is something going on with Timberlake, but the fact that he remained hopeful about performing later this week seemed to indicate that his health issue might not be too serious.

In his tweet, Timberlake was referring to the fact that he is slated to perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday night in New York as part of his 20/20 Experience World Tour.

The 33-year-old star has remained relevant over the years despite his jump through generations from the 90s to 2014. Timberlake has more than 30 million followers on Twitter alone.
