The trailer for the second part of the live action movie, "Attack on Titan" has been released online. The movie adaptation is based on the manga series created by Japanese illustrator and writer Hajime Isayama called "Shingeki no Kyojin."

With the title "Attack on Titan: End of the World," the film will continue the battle for survival between the almost-extinct human race against the cannibalistic giants called Titans.

The more-than-a-minute trailer showed Eren, Mikasa, Armin and the rest of the trainees of the Survey Corps as they fight the Titans that have invaded their home after a long period of relative peace.

Australian film distributor Madman Entertainment released the trailer with the accompanying English subtitles, said Anime News Network.

"Attack on Titan" was divided into two movies with "End of the World" as the second film. The first movie was released in Japan in August while the second part will premiere on Sept. 19, reported Comic Book.

Legendary Japanese production studio, Toho Company, produced the live-action film for the big screen. The studio is best known for films like "Godzilla" and "Mothra," reported Bloody Disgusting.

Japanese actor Haruma Miura plays the role of Eren Yeager, the boy who holds the key on defeating the Titans and Kiko Mizuhara is Mikasa, Eren's adopted sister.

Joining the two is their best friend Armin, portrayed by Kanata Hongo. Together, the three form the lead in finding a way to protect the people and slay the Titans that attacked their homes.

Western fans of the popular manga will be delighted to know that both movies will have a limited theatrical release in the U.S. and Canada.

The Press Enterprise reported that the first part, "Attack on Titan," will debut in U.S. theaters on Sept. 30, Oct. 1 and 7. The second part will then arrive a few weeks after on Oct. 10 with subsequent showings on Oct. 22 and 27.

Canada will show the movie on Oct. 5 and 26, followed by the second part on Oct. 22 and 26.

FUNimation Entertainment brought the movie to the Western shores in around 300 theaters. Because the film is on a limited release, the entertainment company suggested that fans check out the list of theaters showing the movie on this list.

In July, FUNimation screened the world premiere of the first part of the live-action film in Hollywood. Actors Miura and Mizuhara were in attendance at the red carpet event with director Shinji Higuchi.
