A late Katy Perry showed up on the catwalk for Moschino at Milan Fashion Week and the crowd was definitely not pleased.

The singer strut her stuff on the catwalk in a black-gold Moschino ensemble to support American designer and friend, Jeremy Scott on his debut collection for the brand. The only problem was, Katy was late - 50 minutes late, reports the Daily Mail.

The show was supposed to start 8:00 pm, notes the Daily Mail but models and spectators had to wait 45 minutes for the singer's friend, Rita Ora to show up on the front row and another 5 more minutes for the 'Dark Horse' singer.

Katy's quick trip on the catwalk before taking her front row seat was reportedly initially done to appease the crowd but it seems that most of the spectators, including the paparazzi were more eager to start the fashion show, notes the Daily Mail.

With the crowd boo-ing, Katy still managed to pose for the cameras before allegedly muttering, "You're all going to get your picture, so shut the f-k up," says Page Six.

Others took to Twitter to express their disappointment with the tardiness.

The Financial Times' fashion editor, Vanessa Friedman first tweeted about Rita Ora saying, "Rita Ora shows up @Moschino 45 minutes late. I guess that's what we were waiting for? #MFW #FTLuxury," to which fashion website Style Cartel responded to with "@VVFriedman @Moschino why is she relevant again?"

Friedman later on tweeted, "Katy Perry now getting booed by @Moschino audience for arriving 55 minutes late. Really, very bad business. #MFW #FTLuxury."

Trish Halpin, Marie Claire UK's editor-in-chief also tweeted, "Katy Perry keeping us waiting @moschino going to be late for dinner. That's the problem with celebs at fashion week."

Jeremy Scott has clarified the issue with a tweet saying, "YO WAIT A SEC WE WERENT WAITING ON @katyperry TO START THE @MOSCHINO SHOW WE WERE WAITING ON MODELS WHO WERE LATE ! CHECK YO FACTS FOOLZ !!!"

Even so, the singer still wasn't able to contain herself and addressed the boo-ing crowd. Watch her address the crowd and hear what she tries to say in the video below.
