Jennifer Lawrence may be an Oscar-winning actress but she, like other people, also has insecurities. The actress recently revealed that she googles herself to know what people are saying about her.

"The Hunger Games" star admitted that she sometimes can't help but search about herself on Google and on social media. Lawrence told The New York Times during an interview about "Mockingjay Part 2" that it's probably the reason why she sometimes gets anxious about what people think about her.

When reporter Brookes Barnes suggested she never google herself, she replied, "You try being 22, having a period and staying away from Google. I once googled 'Jennifer Lawrence Ugly.' Do I sound bit**y?"

Jennifer then explained her reason why she would care about what people think of her. She told Barnes she can't pretend not to care since she gets "really insecure about it."

"The world makes an opinion of you without ever meeting you. That worry should never bother me, but it does," she said.

The actress told the publication that she tries to live the life of a normal 25-year-old. But shying away from the public eye has become a challenge for Lawrence ever since she took the lead role of Katniss Everdeen in "The Hunger Games" movie series. The movie has catapulted her into one of Hollywood's most sought-after celebrities. It also placed her under the critical eye of the media.

According to The New York Times, she received scrutiny after she was announced for the lead part. Talking about how she perceived people's opinion about her, Jennifer told the publication, "I just try to acknowledge that this scrutiny is stressful, and that anyone would find it stressful."

"So I've got to try to let it go, and try to be myself, and focus on important things," she added.

During her interview with The New York Times, Jennifer also revealed that she and "Trainwreck" actress Amy Schumer are collaborating on a new script. It reportedly started when she emailed the comedian after watching "Trainwreck," and from then on their friendship blossomed from email to texting.

Lawrence said she and Schumer are writing a movie together where they play sisters. She told Barnes they've already completed 100 pages but didn't reveal any another details.

According to Mirror UK, Jennifer recently celebrated her 25th birthday in August, where her friends organized for Kris Jenner to join the party. Talking about the celebration, the actress told Barnes that she almost "lost consciousness" after seeing Kris holding out her cake.
