The new batch of titles coming out this week delivers a diverse combination of sci-fi and sports games to PS4 gamers around the globe.

The official PlayStation blog site listed the following PS4 titles, which are due this week:

  2. "Bombing Busters"
  3. "Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition"
  4. "EA Sports NBA Live 16"
  5. "EA Sports NHL 16"
  6. "Flame Over"
  7. "Frozen Free Fall: Snowball Fight"
  8. "Invokers Tournament"
  9. "Kitten Squad"
  10. "Overruled!"
  11. "Pro Evolution Soccer 2016"

"Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition," "Frozen Free Fall: Snowball Fight," "Invokers Tournament" and "Pro Evolution Soccer 2016" will also be available on PS3. All games listed above can be bought digitally while "The Taken King," "NHL 16" and "PES 16" can be purchased through retail as well.

HAMSTER Corporation is continuing their re-launching of classic arcade games with "Solomon's Key." Gamers must utilize Dana's magical powers to collect items en route to discovering the titular relic. Meanwhile, "Bombing Busters" lets players compete against each other through bombs and mazes.

"Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition" will see the arrival of Oryx in our solar system as he seeks revenge for Crota, his fallen son. Before "NBA Live 16" launches on Sept. 29, video game ballers can access the game's new flagship feature in advance via the game's demo version.

Bleacher Report earlier wrote that "Live Pro-Am" will "take the player you created into one of the two environments."

In the "Live Run" mode, five Rising Star players team up to do battle on the blacktop against other human-controlled teams. In the "Summer Circuit" mode, human teams take on CPU-controlled All-Stars. Both multiplayer modes are essential for players looking to earn badges, skill upgrades, and signature moves.

As per PlayStation's blog site, "NHL 16" is sure to hook fans to the hockey video game genre even more since the game is basically fan-made. EA Sports' latest hockey game boasts of more fan inputs as well as a revamped EA Sports "Hockey League."

Not to be outdone is "Pro Evolution Soccer 16."

IGN reported that the game will introduce improved collisions which will make tackles, dives and mid-air battles more gut-wrenching.

Goalkeepers will rejoice since "Pro Evolution Soccer 16" will count goalie stats specifically; catching, clearing, collapsing, and deflecting the ball. The game will feature new commentators Peter Drury and Marco Hagemann. It will also have a more dynamic weather and a new wide-angle camera shot.

Rounding off this week's PS4 titles are a string of simple yet delightfully entertaining multiplayer games.
