Eddie Redmayne recently opened up about feeling the pressure as he's set to headline the "Harry Potter" film instalment, "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find  Them," as Newt Scamander. The actor admitted he doesn't want to put a bad name to the film, especially since its predecessors were highly regarded by fans of J.K Rowling's "Harry Potter" novels.

E! News caught up with the actor during the screening of his new film, "The Danish Girl," at the Toronto International Film Festival. Redmayne admitted his apprehension to live up to the franchise's legacy.

"The stakes are high because they were so good before. You don't want to screw it up," he said of the previous "Harry Potter" films.

Despite the pressures, Redmayne says he feels blessed and honored to be given the opportunity to lead the cast in "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find  Them." He also shared some good words about the author J.K. Rowling.

"It's a complete privilege for me. I love J.K. Rowling. I love the Harry Potter films [and] books so for me this is just the most wondrous gift really," he told E! News.

Redmayne had previously spoken about the film in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. The actor expressed his excitement to actually relive the story, which he thought can only exist in the book.

"Like many people, I read those books, I watched those films, and became completely intoxicated by J.K. Rowling's world. The idea of getting to tiptoe into it felt truly exciting. I hope it's going to be quite a ride," he said.

According to Entertainment Weekly in a separate report, Redmayne plays the role of a renowned magizoologist and a wizard who travels around the world to write about his discoveries of fantastical creatures. Eddie is reportedly currently shooting the movie, which takes place in New York City 70 years before the events in the "Harry Potter" movies. Entertainment Weekly claims production started in August.

The film is slated for U.S. release on Nov. 18, 2016, under the direction of David Yates. The story is said to be based off J.K.Rowling's 2001 book of the same title.

Redmayne is joined in the film by "True Detective" star Colin Farrell, who plays Graves and "Trainwreck" actor Ezra Miller as Credence. Other stars include Katherine Waterston as Tina, Dan Fogler as Jacob,  Alison Sudol who plays Tina's sister Queenie, Jenn Murray as Chastity, Faith Wood-Blagrove as Modesty and Samantha Morton who plays Mary Lou.
