Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas reunited during Harry's 31st birthday, sparking speculations they may have gotten back together for good. However, multiple sources have claimed that the pair has always remained friends, even after their split, and a reunion is unlikely to happen soon.

Newly-single Cressida was photographed leaving The Cross Keys pub in Chelsea in the early hours of morning on Wednesday, after a night of fun celebrating Harry's birthday with some friends, including Zara Philips and her husband Mike Tindall. A photo shared by Daily Mail shows the 26-year-old laughing outside the pub. Harry, dressed in a white polo shirt, was also photographed leaving the pub a short time after.

The party was reportedly held in a private room at The Cross Keys Pub and ended around 1:30 a.m. It's believed Bonas then went to an after party at Kensington Palace to join Harry and his friends continue with his 31st birthday celebration.

However, a source close to Harry told People that Cressida did not go to the palace. The source likewise claimed that Bonas was invited to the party because she and Harry have always remained friends even after they split in April last year. They are "part of the same group of friends," the source said.

"She was invited along to a birthday party with the big group of people and that was it. They're friends," the source further told People.

Another source close to Cressida told Daily Mail that she is not back together with Harry at the moment. The source likewise mentioned that Harry and Cressida "have always kept in touch" and are still fond of each other.

"They were out with a group of friends having a drink to celebrate Harry's 31st. It was also a chance for him to say hello to some of his pals, having spent the summer working in Africa," the source told Daily Mail.

The source claimed Cressida is very fond of Harry. However, she is not ready to get back with him since the issues that caused their split is reportedly still there. When asked about these issues, the friend told Daily Mail that Bonas "isn't the type to be at anyone's beck and call." She reportedly also couldn't keep up with Harry's wealthy lifestyle.

Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, also told People not too read too much about Cressida's presence at Harry's birthday party, since they've reportedly always remained friends.
