Rita Ora may have learned a thing or two from Taylor Swift when it comes to making music. According to a recent report, she may be following after Taylor's style when it comes to creating songs out of her past relationships.

According to Mirror UK, Rita might be using her heartbreak over Harris in making her new album, which will be released later this month.  The 24-year-old has never been shy to talk about her breakup with the DJ, and speculations point to her new album as a dedication to the Scottish DJ. She also recently revealed that she's been keeping a diary about what's happened in her life.

Talking to The Sun (via Mirror UK), Rita hinted that she would be talking about her failed romance with Harris through her song.

"If it means something to me, I'd rather say it through a song. I sit there and brainstorm and keep a diary too. I look back on moments that meant something to me, to provoke some sort of message I want to to communicate along the way," she said.

In a recent interview with Billboard, Ora also described her new album "the most honest album" she has ever released.

The singer, who will reprise her role as Mia Grey in "Fifty Shades Darker," announced the release of her first worldwide album, which will also be released in the United States.

"It's going to be available worldwide and it's an exciting time because right now, that's what music's all about -- it's all about mixed cultures," Rita said in the video interview, as shared by Billboard.

Rita had previously spoken about her breakup with Harris as a consequence of mixing business with pleasure. Back then, they had collaborated on a song called "I Will Never Let You Down." According to Metro UK, Calvin had banned Rita from performing that song at the Teen Choice Awards. That was believed to be the cause of their breakup.

The singer had also opened up about her breakup with Harris during her cover interview for the July issue of Marie Claire magazine. Rita also mentioned a rift in their relationship started after "I Will Never Let You Down."

"Everything started to go a bit weird. I don't know if it was because business was mixed with personal or what," she said.
