Donald Trump insists Fox News reporters have treated him poorly and is vowing not to grant any more interviews to the conservative news outlet.

"Fox News has been treating me very unfairly & I have therefore decided that I won't be doing any more Fox shows for the foreseeable future," Trump tweeted on Wednesday.

The two sides first began bickering back in early August when following the first Republican presidential debate, televised by Fox News and moderated by host Megyn Kelly. Trump charged that the network was unfairly targeting him. The two later agreed to a truce, but in recent days Trump has returned to voicing his steady stream of criticism.

"I think @megynkelly should take another eleven day 'unscheduled' vacation," he tweeted. He later added, "I am having a really hard time watching."

Following the first debate, Trump and Kelly openly feuded after he became agitated by her line of questioning and responded by brazenly criticizing her over social media in an attack Fox News boss Roger Ailes denounced as "disturbing."

After several days of not appearing on the network, Trump returned to making guest appearances on the station and referring to Ailes as "a good friend."

The outspoken Trump has sat atop the crowded 2016 Republican presidential field for several weeks, though in recent days some polls suggest his support has dramatically decreased. A new CNN/ORC poll finds that support for Trump has slipped from 32 to 24 percent since last week's second republican debate.

For the most part, the beneficiary of Trump's fall has been former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina who has gone from being an also ran to now garnering 15 percent of the vote and placing second to Trump overall. Over the last several days, Trump has criticized her as too robotic and a "tremendous failure" as a business person.
