Hideo Kojima took a final bow when he finished "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain," and despite being critically acclaimed saying "The Phantom Pain" has been by far the best of the series, fans still feel bereft after it was announced that there are no plans of releasing a DLC for the game.

According to Attack of the Fan Boy, fans expected some form of DLC for the game because those who already finished playing it noticed missing pieces in the game, incomplete storylines and some unfinished business for the Big Boss.

Fans are now calling out Hideo Kojima to at least complete a third installment that will put everything to rest. However, Kojima announced in the past that "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" will be his last project in the "Metal Gear Solid" series.

Robert Allen Peeler of Konami responded to queries on whether fans can expect a downloadable content for the game. He said, "I don't have any particular story content to announce." The only DLC available for "Metal Gear V: The Phantom Pain" is the Snake's new outfit, but a release date has not even been set for that.

According to Polygon, Peeler confirmed a certain setting on "Metal Gear v: The Phantom Pain's" prelude called Camp Omega.

"Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes" is also confirmed to be available on "Metal Gear Online." This was confirmed via a Twitter post wherein a fan asked about Camp Omega, and Peeler responded saying, "It's one of the mission areas for the Metal gear Online.

Fans who wish to have the game on their consoles can expect its release in October for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.

"Metal Gear Solid V" has left an indelible mark when it garnered excellent ratings after its launch. Despite this, the game was also marred by a glitch when saving the game. Konami took actions immediately and worked on the glitch especially on its PlayStation 4 platform.

Konami and Hideo Kojima may not disclose any rift between them, but Kojima's exit from the "Metal Gear Solid" series has been taken seriously by Konami, creating controversy when Kojima's name did not appear on the title's acknowledgements.

Recently, Konami has also been involved in a rumor wherein they have allegedly stopped creating Triple A class games. Konami has yet to release an official statement regarding the said issue.
