After many rumors of similar nature in the past, Scarlett Johansson has confirmed that she is finally pregnant with her first child! Reports have confirmed that the Avengers actress is expecting her first child with her fiance, Romain Dauriac.

E! News was the first to break the story that the 29-year-old actress is expecting her first child with her French journalist boyfriend. This annoucement comes shortly after the recent announcement that she also plans to tie the knot with Dauriac, when she showed off her engagement ring back in September 2013. The couple first went public with their relationship in November 2012, after Scarlett ended her relationship with actor Nate Naylor.

Bonnie Fuller's Hollywood Life had the chance to speak to the actress about her baby, and what she expects of having a family and motherhood. "I would like to have my own family, that would be nice," Johansson revealed. "They say it's never the right time and I am sure that's true, but I think you have to plan it like anything else. At some point it is something I look forward to. I am fortunate in that I have had a long career -- 20 years -- that has been very diverse. So, you know, picking a time to plan a family feels like something that I could do and not feel as though I was missing out."

Prior to Naylor and Dauriac, Johansson was married to Ryan Reynolds for nearly three years. They divorced in July 2011. Reynolds recently tied the knot with actress Blake Lively.

There's no confirmation yet on how far along Johansson is, when the baby is due, or whether she's having a boy or a girl. There's also no word on when, or if, she will tie the knot with Romain. Whatever the case, though, congratulations are definitely in order for the couple!
