Dallas Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick is unloading his Los Angeles home.

Scandrick, the football player who entered the Dallas team in 2008, is selling his Woodland Hills for nearly $2.15 million, Los Angeles Times reported. If he finds a buyer soon for this asking price, he will be getting almost $395,000 in profit, as it was only purchased for $1.755 million a year ago, noted the news outlet, citing public records. The 28-year-old NFL athlete sought the services of real estate agents Mark Rutstein, Lee Mintz and Greg Holcomb of Partners Trust Real Estate to handle the listing of the contemporary property.

The over 5,100-square-foot Los Angeles residence features five bedrooms and four bathrooms. The renovated abode constructed in the 1960s also displays a kitchen with a center island, a grand dining room, an expansive living room and a media room equipped with customized shelves and wine storage. The next residents of this Woodland Hills estate will benefit greatly from an elegant master suite that comes with a walk-in closet, his and hers vanities and a private "lofted space."

The interiors of the gated California dwelling place sitting on almost half an acre of land are also impressive with a comfortable ambiance courtesy of its open floor plan, vaulted ceilings and naturally filled living areas. Chic but functional accents like darkwood-lined flooring, intricate chandeliers and high-level windows showcased inside the newly updated home.

Outdoors, there is a simple courtyard adorned with a river-rock pond and waterfall. A large patio, an outdoor kitchen and a swimming pool that comes with a spa complete the grounds.

Out for 2015 Season

The Boise State University alumnus, who delivered 9.5 sacks in all his seven seasons as a Cowboy, per ESPN stats, is a key player in the team's defense. The Times noted that Scandrick has been honored as the Cowboys' co-defensive most valuable player of 2014. Thus, it is such a great loss for the team to not see him play for the whole season.

In August while at practice, Scandrick tore his ACL, a knee ligament, and it was a season-ending injury that devastated him and the Cowboys, per NFL.com's Ian Rapoport's tweet.

However, the young defensive back promises he will be back again in a much better state, per ESPN's Ed Werder's Twitter post.

Aside from him, Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant and quarterback Tony Romo also had serious injuries while playing this season. Bryant broke his foot during a game against the New York Giants, per NFL.com, while Romo broke his left clavicle during a showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles, per the same site.
