Former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star Brian Austin Green is seeking spousal support and joint custody of his children from soon-to-be Hollywood ex-wife Megan Fox.

According to People Magazine, after five years and two sons, Fox cited irreconcilable differences in recently filing for divorce. She listed June 15 as the couple's official date of separation.

The two first announced they were engaged in 2006, but called things off three years later, before reconciling and making their union official in 2010. Since their most recent split, Green, who also has a 13-year-old son with actress Vanessa Marcil, has been spotted still wearing his wedding ring.

The 42-year-old actor has also taken to wearing T-shirts around Los Angeles bearing such messages as "Life Hurts."

Meanwhile, the 29-year-old Fox appears to be keeping busy by burying herself in her work. She recently signed on to assume a starring role on the Fox network sitcom "New Girl," while series star Zooey Deschanel is out on maternity leave.

With the show set to premiere soon after the new year, Fox's first appearance is slated for the upcoming fifth season's sixth episode. Fox also recently broke her prolonged silence on social media by posting a black-and-white selfie on Instagram with the caption "I'm Still Here."

Reports are Green also continues to look thin and somewhat haggard, after he and Fox were involved in a car accident with a drunk driver last December that supposedly left him nursing a bout of vertigo and unable to work. Green has also recently been spied wearing a motion sickness bracelet on his left wrist.

A source close to Fox recently told People, "Megan is young and hot and sought after for work, and she is eager to move ahead in her career. Brian wants more of her time than she can allow."
