In the next episode of "The Bastard Executioner," Lady Love will get cozy with an unlikely source.

Episode 6 is titled "Thorns/Drains" and will air on cable network FX next Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 10 p.m EDT, according to TV Guide.

Apparently, there is no theme off limits in this gritty new period drama from Kurt Sutter. Although the writer and show creator has been known to make his shows with exclusively that in mind, according to Spoilers Guide.

What fans have come to know as truth will be shocked to see that Lady Love is not just a helpless woman in the Welsh Dark Ages but rather a scheming and reliable person who is willing to do whatever it takes to maintain control of her land.

If the last episode was any indicator, the next might even surprise you more. She will get a visit from an unlikely source that will prove to be more than just a casual acquaintance. This shocking turn of events will rather be a new ally in her bid to maintain a secret that enables her to keep her family lands.

But this ally may prove to be more of a thorn in her side once she gets a firm hold on her land. The old saying is quid pro quo, and when you make a deal with the devil, you can expect to pay up in the end.

Nevertheless, one tragic circumstance at a time as she lobbies for her mission.

Wilkin also has a new timetable to content with now that he crossed new lines in the sand that he never intended to breach in the beginning. That became apparent in the last episode when he had visions of his wife in the water and her subsequent plunge into the grave. This can also prove to be unacceptable to Toran, who will have no other choice but to go along with the new timeline.
