Previously, during the Gamescom in August, Electronics Arts announced that "The Sims 4: Get Together" will arrive in November. However, with several additions to the expansion, the release date was finally moved to Dec. 8.

According to a report from GameSpot, the expansion received several additional features, which include the new patch called the Windenburg. It also added a new feature that allows a player to create his own club within the game as well as the addition of a new DJ and some dancing moves.

The expansion of "The Sims 4: Get Together" as well as the added features on the game were due to the comments, suggestions and feedback from fans. Senior producer Lyndsay Pearson said, "We loved seeing your reactions to the news, and closely followed all your comments and discussions."

Maxis, the developer of the game has been working really hard to produce a quality concept game that will give players the maximum playing satisfaction that they deserve.

Posted on The Sims website, the company said, "We're taking this time to add more polish and depth into the core of 'The Sims 4 Get Together.' We think this time will allow us to make the experience even bigger, better, and cooler. We're working on some new items and features that we really think you're going to love. There's a new board game (Don't Wake the Llama!) and the Natural Pool now has a diving rock for your Sims to jump off!"

According to TechTimes, "The Sims 4: Get Together" will launch in North America on Dec. 8. The rest of the region will eventually have the game for the rest of the week. The news outlet also reveals that there will ba a certain change on the Sims' behavior. When they are in a club, they're bound to do whatever they want, including breaking the normal norms. It's up to the player to control the Sim and make it behave according to his will.

The club, which the player created, can implement up to 10 rules, five on which encourage partygoers and another five discourages them from doing a certain action.

The club will also feature a spot where the player designates a place for certain groups to stay. It basically looks like a conventional  real-life club with the added factor of setting your own rules and controlling the Sims.

Take note gamers, if you're really looking forward to buying this game, the date of release has been moved from November to Dec. 8.
