The waiver wire is absolutely critical for Fantasy Football owners everywhere. Staying on top of free agency can make or break your team every week. Disappointing play and injuries often lead to Fantasy Football owners checking their waiver wire to help aid their roster week in and week out.

Here are five players you should consider singing off the waiver wire this week.

1. Thomas Rawls

We still don't know when Marshawn Lynch will return, but we do know these two things: Thomas Rawls is playing great in his spot, and the Seattle Seahawks passing game is struggling. Rawls had 196 rushing yards in Week 5 against the undefeated Cincinnati Bengals, and he's averaging 5.6 yards per carry this season. The 22-year-old undrafted running back has a great burst of speed, and he's shown he can handle a large load of carries. Next week won't be a cakewalk against the Carolina Panthers defense, but if you're having running back issues, check for Rawls. Rawls is only owned by 9.8 percent of Fantasy Football owners.

2. Allen Hurns

The Jacksonville Jaguars won't win many games this year, but they do have an emerging young wide out named Allen Hurns. Hurns has 430 receiving yards this season. That's the seventh most in the entire league, even ahead of Odell Beckham Jr., Emmanuel Sanders, Demaryius Thomas and Julian Edelman. The Jaguars face the 1-4 Houston Texans in Week 6. Hurns has posted 116 receiving yards in each of the last two weeks with touchdown grabs in the last three consecutive games. Like Rawls, Hurns was undrafted by any NFL team, but you may have the chance to grab him as a free agent.

3. Willie Snead

At 1-4, the New Orleans Saints are pretty much finished. Without Jimmy Graham, the Saints leading tight end is Ben Watson who only has 139 receiving yards. Drew Brees has to look in a different direction, and he's done just that. Willie Snead (yes, he was undrafted in real life as well) leads the Saints in receiving yards with 381 yards so far, which is more than Robert Gronkowski has for the New England Patriots. The Saints are constantly losing early in games so you can count on Brees passing the ball early and often. Hopefully for your sake, Snead will get even more looks next week against the Atlanta Falcons 29th ranked secondary.

4. Jordan Reed

The Washington Redskins are hanging around in the NFC East despite their crushing loss to the Falcons in Week 5. One of the biggest reasons for that is their quarterback to tight end combination. Jordan Reed was inactive for that game, but he still leads all Redskins players in receiving yards with 278. Kirk Cousins will need Reed a lot next week against the New York Jets and Darrelle Revis with so many deep balls being taken away with their great secondary.

5. Knile Davis

The Kansas City Chiefs have lost four games in a row to drop to 1-4. To makes matters even worse, Jamaal Charles is feared to have a torn ACL. Next man up. Knile Davis isn't going to fully replace Charles and his production, but he is a good running back. Davis protects the football a little better than Charles and he can be a bruiser up the middle between the tackles. Alex Smith doesn't throw many deep balls to his wide receivers, so it's still pretty safe to say Davis will get his touches on the ground and through the air.
