At an event on Saturday, actress Nina Dobrev said that she has another film project in the works, but remained quiet about the details, only revealing that she will undergo a makeover for the role.

At the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Los Angeles, the 26-year-old star revealed that, besides promoting the slasher film "The Final Girls" and preparing for work on the film "Arrivals," she will be making hair-related changes for her next role, reported InStyle.

"I'm going to be cutting my hair for my next role," she said. "I'm doing a movie that I haven't announced yet, so I can't talk about it, but we're going to be cutting my hair for that."

Since leaving "The Vampire Diaries" Dobrev has kept busy, landing roles is diverse film genres and supporting her boyfriend Austin Stowell, who plays a pivotal role in "Bridge of Spies."

The couple made their first red carpet appearance on Oct. 4 at the film's premiere during the New York Film Festival in New York.

The actress, who recently shared some animated posters for "The Final Girls" film on Instagram, including one of her character Vicki, recently told Interview Magazine what she wants when it comes to film roles.

"I want to do things where the talent range is difficult and that scare me. I thrive on that; if it's not scaring me then I'm not growing," Dobrev said, revealing that she has had several film offers but hasn't jumped at all of them.

She added, "I'd rather wait for something really good -- to be excited about a role, or a director, or a project. I'm not just going to accept something because it's a lot of money. I'm an artist; content is incredibly important to me ... I don't just want to do things that are the pretty girl with lots of makeup, I want to get into the gritty stuff and get down and dirty and dark and really feed my soul and not my vanity."

Dobrev, who shared an image from the Interview photoshoot on Instagram, also revealed other actresses who inspire her. Besides Audrey Hepburn and Cate Blanchett, Dobrev considers Jennifer Lawrence one of her inspirations, citing "The Hunger Games" star's humility, charisma, intelligence and humor as admirable qualities.
