Demi Lovato announced on Monday that she and singer Nick Jonas will be going on tour together in Summer 2016.

Lovato took to Instagram to make the announcement about their joint project, which begins on June 24 in Florida.

"North America!! I'm SO excited to invite you all to The #FutureNowTour next summer joined by my best friend @NickJonas!" Lovato posted on her Instagram account.

The tour will take both superstars throughout North America. It will include stops in Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, New York, Ohio, California, Nevada and Texas.

During an interview with "Good Morning America," the two singers discussed why they chose to have a joint tour, according to ABC News.

"Demi and I were business partners and, obviously, have a long history of being friends, but the chief for us was about living in this moment, taking a step out individually over the last year-and-a-half, two years, and growing with our fans and then saying, you know, if there was ever a time to do it, it's now," Jonas said. "[We're] so excited to get in front of our fans and really curate the moment each night."

This isn't the first time the two have worked together. Lovato and Jonas both appeared in the Disney Channel "Camp Rock" films, and Jonas served as the musical and creative director for Lovato's 2014 "Neon Lights" tour.

Earlier this year, the two stars also revealed that they had partnered to start their own record label, Safehouse Records.

Lovato, who will be performing songs from her latest album "Confident," took to social media to clear up rumors that she and Adam Lambert were feuding because, according to TMZ, he was her original tour-mate and was dumped for Jonas.

However, Lambert and Lovato's Twitter exchange put that rumor to rest.

"Just goes to show how accurate @TMZ really is... I love you @adamlambert," Lovato tweeted in response to Lambert's post defending the star.
