Halle Berry has reportedly had her screen time significantly shortened in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

According to sources from The New York Daily News, the 47-year-old actress, who will be reprising her role as the weather-manipulating mutant Storm, has had all her scenes whittled down to just one.

"She only has one line in the whole movie," said a NY Daily News source. "They're not telling her until the movie comes out."

Berry had already implied that her role in the heavily-casted new film would be limited. The actress was pregnant with her second child during most of the filming.

"My ever-growing belly was posing a constant challenge," Berry said to Digital Spy. "What I could do was getting more limited, so the role that I play is so different from what it could have been, due to my surprise pregnancy."

She also admitted that Storm would probably see a lot more dialogue than action in the movie.

"Storm probably won't be as badass as she was going to be," said Berry. "Because we won't be able to do any fighting or flying or things like that."

However, Berry hinted that Storm would still play a significant role in the story and that viewers would learn something new about the character.

"There's something very revealing and shocking about Storm in this movie that I thought was needed. There are some things you find out about her that I think give you much more insight into who she is," she said.

It will be interesting to see if this stunning revelation will make it into the final cut of the film. Berry's co-star Anna Paquin, who played Rogue in the first three X-Men films, had her character completely cut from Days of Future Past.

Interestingly, film blog Superherohype has claimed the NY Daily News is mistaken. According to "a very trusty source" Berry's role has not been cut and "she does some cool stuff in the movie."
