Challenging times for Yolanda and her children

In 2012, Yolanda was diagnosed with Lyme disease, which may be transmitted via Borrelia burgdorferi- infected ticks, per CDC.gov, Entertainment Tonight noted.

In January, she shared how much she was suffering from her sickness via a message on BravoTV.

"I have lost the ability to read, write, or even watch TV, because I can't process information or any stimulation for that matter. It feels like someone came in and confiscated my brain and tied my hands behind my back to just watch and see life go by without me participating in it," Yolanda wrote.

Just recently, the 51-year-old model shared that she was not the only one diagnosed with this illness in her family. Her daughter Bella and her son Anwar, too, are infected, Entertainment Tonight noted.

Her supermodel daughter Gigi Hadid is the only one not affected by the dreaded disease, but she is also having a very difficult time.

"What's been hardest for me is just trying to find a way to be their hope and kind of be a strength for them even with the disease that I can't understand fully because I haven't been through it," Gigi said.
