Director Brian Singer has just confirmed that Halle Berry will be appearing in the upcoming film "X-Men: Days of Future Past" as weather-manipulating mutant Storm.

According to the NY Daily News, Storm's character, who has appeared in the first three installments of the series has been "almost entirely" cut from the upcoming "X-Men" film. Due to her pregnant state, filming and production has had to go around the actress' growing baby bump with her role being trimmed away to almost being non-existent.

Berry, who plays Storm, was cut out of every scene but one in post-production..."She only has one line in the whole movie," sources say. "They're not telling her until the movie comes out."

However, contradicting reports have appeared with SHH stating that a knowledgeable and credible source has stated that the report of NY Daily News has no truth.

Regardless of the amount of screen time baby mama Berry will have in this new film, apparently Rope of Silicon reveals that audiences will learn something extremely shocking about Storm's character.

Independent UK recalls that Berry was pregnant with her second child during production of the soon-to-be-released film and has been expected to play a drummed-down action part. The actress previously told BBC: "Storm probably won't be as badass as she was going to be because we won't be able to do any fighting or flying or things like that," but added that she would play an "integral part" in the new film."

The film is the 7th installment of the franchise which will combine "X-Men" original characters with the younger versions of themselves to save the world. The cast of the film includes Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender alongside veteran X-Men cast members Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellen and Hugh Jackman.

The movie has been scheduled for release in May of 2014.
