A father and son leaving a restaurant spotted a butterfly-shaped aircraft after finishing dinner on Saturday night. The pair took pictures and shot video of the strange object and claim it is a UFO.

Tom, the father, took video of the aircraft, Express reports. In the video, the object slowly glides past him and his son Christopher. Once the object nears the horizon, two lights appear on each side of it.

The photos taken by Christopher are extremely clear and detailed and show the butterfly shape of the aircraft. On the underside of the aircraft there are lights.

As the aircraft passed by the father and son, they claim that two black military helicopters followed it about five minutes after they first spotted it.

A UFO-focused YouTube channel called Secure Team has shown the video off to its followers. The founder of the Secure Team channel, Tyler Glockner, swears that the video is real, Yahoo News reports.

"The reason I am calling this an alien craft rather than just a UFO...is in the stunning detail, where we can see the true structural characteristics of this ship," Glockner said.

"And guys you take a look and tell me with a straight face this has anything to do with humans," he added.

"The features on this thing don't make any sense."

Some skeptics think that the pictures and video is a hoax. Nigel Wilson, the author of UFO Investigations Manual, said, "It looks like it was produced using a model and CGI (computer generated images). It is a very distinctive looking object, it reminds me of the Millennium Falcon spacecraft in the Star Wars films with a bite taken out of it.

"Alarm bells ring when the witnesses are only known as Tom and Christopher, and we might also wonder why other people in the area didn't see it."
