The upcoming "Star Wars Battlefront" is grabbing headlines as the biggest release of the year and reports say the team behind the game is already gearing up for a strong launch with major sales.

According to a report from Game Spot, EA Games is now adjusting its shipment forecast for the "Star Wars Battlefront." During a post-earnings call, CFO Blake Jorgensen revealed that the company is expecting to ship around 13 million units by the end of the current fiscal year, up from their original projection of nine to 10 million copies.

The full-year revenue forecast has also improved by an impressive $50 million. The new target for the year is now $4.5 billion.

In a statement revealed in a separate report from Game Spot, Jorgensen acknowledged the improvement and credited the positive feedback on the beta released earlier in the month.

"Results exceeded our expectations again," he said. "Based on the ongoing strength of our business and reception of 'Star Wars Battlefront', we are raising our full-year outlook for the second time. Our markets are very healthy, the digital transition continues to drive margins, and engagement in our live services and excitement for our upcoming launches is exceptional."

EA Games marked the biggest beta release by the company with the "Star Wars Battlefront," according to a previous report from Latin Post.

A whopping total of 9.5 million players logged in to experience the game's open beta, a number made even more impressive with an infographic in a "Star Wars: Battlefront" community update. The figure also translated to 1.6 billion minutes played or watching the original "Star Wars" trilogy 4.2 million times. It's also the equivalent of 5.9 million individual spawns each from Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker, 1.3 million forced choke kills, 783,000 Walkers destroyed and 293 million E-11 blaster kills.

Everyone has got "Star Wars" fever with "Battlefront" getting released in mid-November and the hotly anticipated "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" hitting the theaters a month later. Fans have been looking forward to The Force making its way into consoles and the big screen.

Recently, one fan even created a well-made "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" trailer mash-up with "Destiny," another sci-fi shooter that shares some elements with the George Lucas franchise.

"The first and final explosive 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' trailer re-imagined in the video game universe of Destiny," the video description read.

"Star Wars Battlefront" for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC will be launched on Nov. 17.
