The fifth episode of "iZombie" this second season will show what happens to Liv and Major after the kiss they shared last episode. The episode on Tuesday may also let viewers formulate questions like, "Should Ravi trust Blaine with his project?"

The synopsis for the next episode was released by The CW Network, Comic Book Movie informed. The site posted the plot for the episode bearing the title "Love & Basketball."

"Liv (Rose McIver), Detective Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) and Ravi (Rahul Kohli) investigate the mysterious death of a peewee basketball coach. Liv, consumed with overzealous coach brains, gives Major (Robert Buckley) a much needed pep talk. Meanwhile, things get a little crazy when Blaine (David Anders) and Ravi are forced to work together to recreate the cure. Lastly, Detective Babineaux receives a surprise visit from Suzuki's widow Helen. Michael Fields directed the episode written by Bob Dearden."

Liv-Major Romance, Not On?

From the last moments of the fourth episode, "Even Cowgirls Get the Blacks and Blues," every fan seems to think that the former lovers and engaged couple Liv and Major can finally sort it out. With "Love & Basketball's" synopsis, it also gives hope that Liv will be able to help Major through her "pep talk."

Yet, the synopsis for the sixth episode, "Abra Cadaver," has been out already, and it just doesn't fit. Part of the synopsis for the sixth episode reads, "Major continues to distance himself from Liv," Comic Book noted.

This means, they may decide not to be together, after all. No matter what, viewers know that Major will eventually rise above everything he's been through, basing on executive producer Rob Thomas' statements on Collider.

Thomas said that Major "will be trying to figure out a way out of it."

This could mean Major will first smoothen everything out before he comes back to Liv, which is actually a wise thing to do. However, could he do it alone?

Ravi and Blaine working together?

Yes, this tandem seems to be a crucial part of the series this season as they will be working on the cure. Should Ravi trust the same man who transformed Liv into zombie last season? Nevertheless, this twist makes Ravi's life more exciting and at the same time risky. It may also make him hold his plan to pursue a relationship with Liv's best friend Peyton (Aly Michalka), who seems to be interested in Blaine, per a Comic Book article.

Former Los Angeles Lakers player Rick Fox will also appear on the show as a guest actor, People informed.
