Ariana Grande may be one petite girl but she has guts bigger than anyone else, and she proved it when she shut down a hater who just body-shamed her.

Grande did not back down, as the 21-year-old singer completely shut down a hater after labeling her as a "stick." Although Grande has been kind enough not to drop the name of the tweet's author, she screen-captured the entire thing, added a badass response and shared it to her 33 million followers.

However, Mic identified that the body-shamer is named John NUFC Williams, and he goes by the handle @OptimusSlime69.

In his tweet, Williams threw shade at the "Problem" singer, when he said he was asked if he would prefer either Ariel Winter or Ariana Grande. Probably unaware of the repercussions of his response, Williams said it would "definitely" be Winter, adding a justification that "curves are sexy, sticks aren't."

While the tweet's author did not directly name who's who, it was clear, and no doubt, that Williams is referring to the "Focus" singer.

Even though she was body-shamed, Grande fought back with modesty and said: "sigh...tweets, comments, statements like this are not okay. about anyone!!! we live in a day and age where people make it impossible for women, men, anyone to embrace themselves exactly how they are."

The singer also added that the things that are sexy include diversity and loving one's self, while misogyny, objectifying, labeling, comparing and body shaming are not. Her full response spoke nothing but the truth, and ended with a strong stance saying that "the things that make us different from one another makes us beautiful."

With a light heart, she also shared her powerful response on Instagram with the same caption that serves as a reminder for everyone who has experienced body-shaming just like her.

No wonder Grande has been tough-hearted enough to uplift herself against discrimination. The singer has been an advocate of self-empowerment recently, according to a Hollywood Life report, after she has released her new album, "Focus."

In the said album, she included tracks like "Focus," which tells the importance of confidence as the lyrics goes: "Let's find a light inside our universe now/Where ain't nobody keep on holding us down/Just come and get it, let them say what they say/Cause I'm about to put them all away."
