Cuban rapper Pitbull will once again be ringing in the new year with his televised celebration "Pitbull's New Year's Revolution."

According to a Foxflash press release, the superstar will be hosting his New Year's show live from Miami, and it will air on Fox.

Last year, the show included performances from big music names like Enrique Iglesias, Becky G, Ne-Yo, as well as groups like Fall Out Boy, Fifth Harmony and The Band Perry.

This year's performers have yet to be announced, but with the host's recent musical collaborations with artists like Jennifer Lopez, Prince Royce, Gente de Zona, Wisin, Jessie J, Chris Brown, and Jason Derulo, as well as his recent appearance on Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour, Pitbull may well bag some major stars for this year's lineup.

The music superstar recently gave fans a look into his rise to fame with his Oct. 22 CNBC special "Pitbull: Fame & Fortune."

In the special, the rapper talked to CNBC chief international correspondent Michelle Caruso-Cabrera about his upbringing, how he owes his success to his mother, the struggle for fame as a Latino and his several business ventures.

The 34-year-old also touched upon the controversy surrounding Donald Trump and his comments about Mexican immigrants. The rapper, who called out the GOP candidate at the 2015 Premios Juventud, claimed Trump was using the Latino community to create headlines.

"I think when he said what he said, he didn't understand what he was saying and who he was speaking to, because if there's anybody in the this country that really appreciates the opportunity to work, it's the Latin community and the Latin culture," Pitbull said in the CNBC special. "I had to stand up and let him know, 'Hey, I'm first generation Cuban American, I know what it took my family to get here. And it was very offensive and disrespectful to our culture.'"
