The Halloween season brings a lot of fun and creative ideas to families including dressing up in scary costumes and giving treats to children. However, the annual Jimmy Kimmel Halloween Prank is also now part of the celebrations as parents once again tricked their children into thinking that they ate all their candies for Kimmel's show.

Kimmel on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," which is under the giant network ABC, again featured the videos of numerous parents pranking their children on Halloween. After all their kids worked hard, visiting homes to gather candies, they pranked the kids, telling them that they ate all of their hard-earned sweets.

Reactions of the children were the usual, as seen on the video featured on Monday night's show. Some children were sobbing hard while some were really understanding and forgiving of their parents, who later on revealed that it was all just a prank for Kimmel's show.

The annual prank was titled "I Told My Kids I Ate Their Halloween Candy," The Daily Beast reports. This year was special since a certain "Avengers: Age of Ultron" actor joined in on the fun. Apparently, Mark Ruffalo thought to give it a try if his own children would get the same reaction.

The Daily Mail reports that the 48-year-old actor, who plays Dr. Bruce Banner and his "Avenger" character The Hulk in the movie franchise, wanted to try it for himself and did so successfully. In the video, which was also featured on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" during Ruffalo's guesting, the actor was seen eating one piece of candy to try and make a good prank in saying he ate all his children's candies including their friends.

Ruffalo sneaked towards their TV room, where all the children were sitting and watching TV. He then told them that he ate all their candies, and, in just a few moments, all the children tackled the actor while screaming loudly.

Apparently, they weren't pleased about what they heard. Right away, Ruffalo said, "I was kidding!" However, the original video was edited by Kimmel's production as Ruffalo suddenly turned green just like The Hulk, to which Ruffalo said to Kimmel, "I have to admit that was set up a little."

"They're the ones who showed me 'Jimmy Kimmel's I Ate Your Halloween Candy,'" the actor added. Ruffalo and wife Sunrise Coigney have three children namely Keen, Odette and Bella.
