ABC Family is reportedly looking for an actress to portray Nicki Minaj in her very own biopic. The rapper's pre-fame life and childhood years will be brought to life in a series, with Minaj herself as the executive producer of the said show.

The rapper had reportedly expressed her intention to have someone relatively unknown portray her in her biopic. Her intentions may finally happen now that ABC Family has decided to open the role to every young female out there.

According to Gossip Cop, ABC Family has called the attention of young girls between the ages of 11 and 13 to audition for the said role. Those interested can reportedly send in their auditions through the Disney Applause app. Applicants will be able to access a script from the app where they can upload their audition videos.

However, Gossip Cop added those who want to be the child Nicki Minaj on screen must submit their video auditions soon since the casting call will end on Nov. 15.

The rapper herself will also star in the show, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The series will reportedly be a single-camera comedy, which will chronicle Minaj's life during her childhood years living in Queen, New York. The series will be set in the 1990s and will start shooting later this year in the rapper's hometown itself, in Queens.

"This is one of the more unique adventures I've ever embarked on. I couldn't be more proud and excited to team up with an amazing group of people to give the world something really special," Minaj said in a statement shared by the Hollywood Reporter.

"Will & Grace" writer Kate Angelo will pen the script and also exec produce the project with Minaj and some other people including Stella Bulochnikov, Brian Sher (Boss), Gee Roberson and Aaron Kaplan (Chasing Life).

ABC Family's executive vice president of development Karey Burke is more than happy to bring the rapper's memories to life on their studio. In a statement posted by the Hollywood Reporter, Burke said ABC Family is "beyond thrilled" to help make Minaj's biopic a success.

"Nicki Minaj is a force to be reckoned with at everything she touches. We're beyond thrilled to bring her one-of-a-kind story to our channel. Nicki is an international superstar, yet not everyone knows how inspiring and hilarious her true story is, and we can't wait to share it with the world," she said according to the statement shared by the Hollywood Reporter.
