ABC reality shows hardly seem like a good way to find true love. One Bachelorette, however, found her husband of 10 years on the show and has plenty of advice for Andi Dorfman, the next Bachelorette, and Juan Pablo Galavis, the latest and possibly most controversial Bachelor.

Trista Sutter found Ryan Sutter on the very first season of The Bachelorette. Recently, she renewed her vows with her husband, proving that love on television is possible. If Dorfman hopes to be as successful in her quest for love, it may be wise to heed Sutter's words.

"I think that, you know, [host Chris Harrison] kind of joked about it [during the After the Rose Ceremony], and I sensed that he was being sarcastic, but she sensed it as he was just being upfront," Sutter said in an interview with E! News. "He said something [like], 'You know you're going to have to be open to the emotion, you know.'"

Dorfman, a 26-year-old assistant district attorney, may have to loosen up to get the most out of the experience.

"I want her to be open to the different types of personalities and open to the full experience and giving herself fully, you know, committing fully to the process, and I can't even imagine as an assistant district attorney stepping into that role," Sutter explained.

As a pediatric physical therapist, Sutter was also concerned about tarnishing her image on The Bachelorette.

"...I was like 'What is my work going to think seeing me on television?' but just from that perspective, I truly hope that she's able to put any professional or career concerns out of her mind and fully invest in the process..." the former Bachelorette continued. "Bottom line is be grateful for the opportunity and have fun with it!"

What about the infamous Galavis? What does the veteran Bachelorette make out of that situation?

"You shouldn't bite the hand that feeds you, and you should always be grateful and he seems a little ungrateful," Sutter said about the Bachelor.
