First came love, then came marriage, then came Flappy Bird invading every infant's baby carriage. The addicting, derided, praised, money-making game was the biggest thing to hit the iOS App Store in a long time. It came to everyone's attention this past February despite being released in May 2013. How Flappy Bird managed to fly under the for a good nine months is anyones guess. Yet, another enriching game was determined to not follow in Flappy Bird's initial footsteps. That game is called Doge2048.

Doge2048's creator Gabriele Cirulli uploaded the simple puzzle game to the web and proceeded to change the world. So what exactly is Doge2048? Well, it's simple really. Just read the provided instructions: "Use your arrow keys or swipe to combine similar Doges and score points! Unlock all 11 doges to win!" Now, you do have to play this with a keyboard on a real computer.

Unfortunately, the game isn't available on Android or iOS at this point in time. Okay, now go play the game, don't worry it's free, and come back to this article... Actually, don't do that or you may never read the rest! The game is truly the finest time-waster known to humankind.

If you've played the game, but consider yourself stuck, then check out this awesome tip from The Inquisitr:

"Some people recommend keeping the higher order tiles to the left side of the board because this forces new tiles to spawn on the right side. You then start shifting the new doge tiles to the left as you combine them. Because you keep the two different organized by side, it also makes it easier to combine them."

Whatever your feelings are towards Doge2048, it's pretty remarkable how it's barked its way to a massive cult following 50 million strong after just a week or so in the popular conscience.

So are you a self-diagnosed Doge2048 addict? Is your new addiction effecting your relationships with your friends and family? Have you gotten divorced over Doge2048? Let us know the extent of your follies in the comments section below. We promise not to judge.
