As hard as it may be to believe, it's been eight years since Hannah Montana first hit the Disney Channel screens and introduced the world to Miley Ray Cyrus. In celebration of this watershed event, #8YearsofHannahMontana began trending worldwide on Twitter, and fans and friends alike began sharing their favorite Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus moments. Here, then, are our favorite Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus moments.

1. Hannah Montana Was Murdered: This isn't a proper Hannah Montana moment per se, except to say that Miley addressed her once and for all during her appearance on Saturday Night Live. "We're not doing anything on Hannah Montana tonight but I can give you an update on what happened to her; she was murdered," Miley said.

2. The Hannah Montana Audition Tape: In this hardly-seen video, Miley gives us some 'tween sass, sings a song with her father Billy Ray, and even talked about her BFFs.

3. Lilly, Do You Want To Know a Secret?: Miley/Hannah confronts her best friend about her true identity as a pop star. Now, either her best friend is as dumb as a brick, or... yeah, no. Her best friend is as dumb as a brick. It's really not that hard to figure out, you know.

4. Ready, Set, Don't Drive: Miley fails her driving test, and has to retake the test as Hannah Montana. You can guess where this is going. "I know what I'm doin', old man. Stick a sock in it!"

5. I Can't Make You Love Hannah If You Don't: Leaving aside the bad ripoff of the Bonnie Raitt classic song (seriously, it's a great song)... Miley has a crush on a ninth grader at school, but finds out that he hates Hannah Montana. Miley decides to forget about him, but then he says he will take her to a Hannah Montana concert to give Hannah a chance. At the concert, Miley runs back and forth, trying to do the concert and be with him at the same time. After several times of going back and forth, the guy leaves without telling Miley. At the end of the episode, Miley is sad, but her father tells her that someday she'll meet a guy who likes everything about her.

Again... this insinuates that EVERYONE under the age of 18 is as dumb as a brick. You mean NO ONE figured it out? Logical deduction is that far-off of a concept?
