Adele has admitted one of the tracks on her new album "25" is aimed at her ex-boyfriend.

The 27-year-old British singer revealed her song "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" was inspired by a former partner, according to the Daily Mail. The man who broke Adele's heart in the past, whose identity she has never disclosed to the public, has been the inspiration for several of her hit songs.

"This is my f*ck-you song," Adele admitted to the Observer. "It sounds obvious, but I think you only learn to love again when you fall in love again."

Her current long-term boyfriend Simon Konecki, who is also the father of her child, helped her fall in love again.

"I'm in that place," Adele said. "My love is deep and true with my man, and that puts me in a position where I can finally reach out a hand to the ex. Let him know I'm over it."

The singer rarely speaks about Konecki in depth during interviews and simply refers to him as "my man."

Adele released a sneak peek of her new song "When We Were Young" in a new video on Twitter. The video is a teaser of her exclusive interview with "60 Minutes Australia."

"Oh, I'm so mad I'm getting old-it makes me reckless," she sings. "It was just like a movie. It was just like a song when we were young."

The singer was spotted in New York on Sunday, leaving her hotel to attend to some promotional obligations for her upcoming album, "25." She was even seen taking a selfie with one of her fans.

Adele is scheduled to release "25" on Friday, Nov. 20. So far the album has produced the single "Hello," which has topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and U.K. Singles charts.
