Foo Fighters' founder and lead vocalist Dave Grohl has officially parted with his Oxnard home.

Grohl, the rock band leader who hails from Ohio, sells his vacation home in California for almost $2.9 million, Los Angeles Times announced. Grohl commissioned Buki Burke of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties as his listing agent while Stan Weiner of Sotheby's International Realty represented the buyers of the property.

The 46-year-old artist initially listed the property for about $3 million, noted the Los Angeles Times in September, citing public real estate records. Yet, the rock star actually bought the home for nearly $3.8 million. Therefore, Grohl may just be too eager to say goodbye to this property to justify a $900,000 loss from his original investment.

Still, the new owners will find delight in their newly acquired home given its various features. The 3,100-square-foot Oxnard estate displays four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Part of its living areas are a modern kitchen, a living room, a dining room and a car garage that can accommodate four vehicles.

The new residents may also enjoy solitude in the comfort of their adequately sized master suite. The suite reportedly comes with a fireplace to make sleeping more comfortable during chilly nights. The master bedroom also provides captivating views of the ocean courtesy of a private balcony.

The property's listing on Realtor.com also described Grohl's former abode as a residence that showcases "an open living area" and all the pertinent living spaces having "picture perfect views of the sand and water." It will be something expected as the property just rests "on the sand of Mandalay Beach," making it a worthwhile vacation home with "panoramic ocean and coastal views."

Foo Fighters Canceled Tour in Paris

E! News informed that Grohl released a statement announcing the cancelation of Foo Fighter's tour in Paris. The ISIS group reportedly "claimed responsibility" for the said attacks, including one at the Bataclan concert hall, where "at least 87" people were killed while attending the Eagles of Death Metal band event.

"It is with profound sadness and heartfelt concern for everyone in Paris that we have been forced to announce the cancellation of the rest of our tour. In light of this senseless violence, the closing of borders, and international mourning, we can't continue right now. There is no other way to say it. This is crazy and it sucks," the Foo Fighters' statement read.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was hurt or who lost a loved one," the band added.
