Harry Styles' recent interview may have finally given proof that "Perfect, " one of the songs from One Direction's new album "Made in the A.M.," is about ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift.

The singer has been dodging queries on whether the song is a response to Taylor's songs about him. However, James Corden may have finally gotten the truth out of Harry during his recent interview with the band at the Apple Music event in London over the weekend.

A footage taken from One Direction's interview with Corden has been making the rounds online. Fans of the band were intrigued to see Harry's reaction when asked by the host if "Perfect" is about Taylor.

A video shared on social media by a Twitter user with the handle name "1D Official Channel" showed Harry with a cheeky smirk on his face while Corden reads out the lyrics of the song. It's rumored that some of the lyrics from "Perfect" refers to Taylor. At one point Harry had to look away and smile at Niall Horan while Corden continued to reference his ex-girlfriend.

The show host read the lyrics out loud saying, "And if you're looking for someone to write your breakup songs about, baby I'm perfect," before adding, "Now listen, I don't 'wanna have any "Bad Blood" about this, and if this is a problem and you don't want to talk about it then we can just "Shake It Off."

When Corden finally asks, "Who's the song about?" amid the cheers from the crowd, Harry could only laugh. According to E! News, his facial expression or reaction alone is already a clue. However, his reaction still did not provide a definite answer that "Perfect" is about Taylor.

Harry was previously also asked to comment on the rumors claiming the lyrics to the song is about his ex, who is now dating DJ Calvin Harris. A reporter from the USA Today Weekend Extra outright quizzed the singer about the inspiration for "Perfect," which he wrote with Louis Tomlinson. However, instead of giving a direct answer, Harry continued to keep his fans guessing when he explained that he writes his songs based on personal experience. But he added that his songs don't have to be about a certain someone or "about a girl that he used to see."

"I'm never going to tell someone what it means to them because there are a lot of songs where I feel something completely different from what the writer intended me to feel. It's obviously funny to see, but it's up to everybody's individual interpretation," he said.
