Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United will resume their battle for the top spot in the 2015-16 English Premier League season this weekend.

Manchester City vs. Liverpool

Manchester City will look to stay on top of the English Premier League standings when they collide with Liverpool on Saturday at Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City, who settled for a scoreless draw against Aston Villa in Week 12, are favored to win against Liverpool on Saturday.

All eyes will also be on striker Raheem Sterling, who will face his former club for the first time since making the £49-million move to Manchester City in the summer. Sterling has already scored six goals for City this season, and manager Manuel Pellegrini expects him to play inspired football against the Reds.

Sergio Aguero will make his return from a seven-game layoff because of a hamstring injury, but Manchester City will be without captain Vincent Kompany (calf), David Silva (ankle) and Wilfried Bony (hamstring).

Arsenal vs. West Bromwich Albion

Meanwhile, Arsenal will also look for a win in order to have a chance to take the top spot or remain within striking distance. The Gunners will face West Bromwich Albion on Saturday at The Hawthorns in England.

Arsenal are coming off a 1-1 draw with Tottenham. They have racked up 26 points in 12 matches from eight wins, two defeats and two draws. Manchester City also have 26 points, but they have a better goal difference than the second-placed Gunners.

Manchester United vs. Watford

Manchester United will look to pick up from where they left off two weeks ago, when they face Watford at Vicarage Road Stadium.

Manchester United are currently fourth in the standings with 24 points. They could take the top spot again if they win, combined with defeats for both Manchester City and Arsenal.
