Christmas tends to come a month early for gaming enthusiasts, as Black Friday and Cyber Monday offer some of the best deals of the year. Parents thinking of purchasing a new gaming system for the kids may want to get in on the action as well, as a number of retailers will be selling next-gen consoles at lower prices.

Microsoft fans will likely be very happy this year, as the Xbox One is being offered at a reduced price at many sellers. The Microsoft Store itself will be selling the system for $299, a $50 reduction.

Microsoft will also offer a number of bundles, including the Limited Edition Halo 5: Guardians Bundle for $449, and the Elite Bundle for $449, which gives customers a 1TB system and an Elite Wireless Controller.

Gamers will also want to check in at other retailers. One of the best deals for the Xbox One will be offered by Target: a $300 Gears of War Bundle comes with a 500GB system, game download and a $60 gift card.

Xbox Live Gold members will also get early access to deals on a slew of titles. From now until Nov. 30, nonmembers will have a chance to upgrade to Gold for the first month membership price of $1.

It's unknown how Sony is planning to match Microsoft's awesome offerings, but it's suspected that the PlayStation 4 will see a price drop similar to the Xbox One.

According to leaks, Gamestop will offer a PlayStation 4 500GB Uncharted Collection Bundle for $300, as well as the Xbox One 500GB Gears of War Ultimate Bundle for $300. Games such as Far Cry 4: Complete Edition will see lowered prices as well, and some pre-owned systems will be going for as low as $80.

For those looking to purchase a PlayStation Plus membership, Newegg is having a 20 percent off sale ($39.99) on Ebay.

Parents searching for cheaper options might want to snag an early Christmas present with the Nintendo 2DS. The handheld device is perfect for young kids who can't handle the visuals of the 3DS. It is being sold for $79 at retailers such as Walmart.
