After a mostly calm episode last Sunday, "Madam Secretary" is coming back this Sunday with some major events that could potentially have some devastating fallout.

Episode 9, titled "Russian Roulette," will air on broadcast network CBS this Sunday, Nov. 29 at 8:30 p.m. EST, according to TV Guide.

Considering how the last episode ended with a minor attack on Russia, Elizabeth McCord is about to navigate into a new dramatic arena in front of the United Nations.

According to Spoilers Guide, she will be making a direct speech to the U.N. about Russia's involvement in the hacking of Air Force One, which is what kicked the season off with a huge bang.

Here is where the drama really kicks into high gear. Even though she has seen Maria Ostrov as enemy number one following the death of the Russian President, it is her that she must consider when she makes the announcement. Just as she is about to address the U.N. she receives new intel that could potentially mean that Russia did not in fact hire the hacker that got into AF1.

As fans may remember in the last episode, Dmitri shared intelligence with Henry McCord just before he left Moscow for refuge, presumably in Sweden with his sister. It is that intelligence that may exonerate Russia, but there is more to it than what she receives. She needs more to stop her speech and the clock is ticking because of the preemptive attack they have already executed, blacking out Russia.

So there has to be an answer to why they did it and the world is waiting, especially Russia. She either has to go into the U.N. and make her accusation or she has stall them in some way to gather more information. Either way, she is in an impossible situation and the international politics are at a boiling point.
