Chelsea Clinton, the 35-year-old daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton, is set to take a more active role in her mother's presidential campaign and is set to host her first fundraiser later this month.

The young Stanford University and Columbia University graduate will headline an event the Clinton camp dubbed a "Family Holiday Celebration with Hillary Rodham Clinton and Chelsea Clinton," which will also feature actress Drew Barrymore and her husband Will Kopelman, ABC News noted.

Supporters of the former secretary of state's White House run can acquire tickets to the fundraiser starting at $250, though the cost of attendance can be as high as $2,700 per family for a family package, CNN detailed.

So far, Chelsea Clinton's participation in the presidential bid has been limited to a speech she gave in September at an event hosted by Foundry Methodist Church in Washington, the news channel noted. The Clintons' daughter also attended her mom's campaign launch in June.

The holiday celebration, meanwhile, will be part of what Politico described as the Clinton camp's customary fundraising sprint to end the quarter. Between now and Dec. 17, Hillary Clinton, for her part, will make similar stops on at least 15 occasions and will speak in Florida, Massachusetts, Virginia, Maryland, Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma, New York and Washington, D.C.

During Hillary Clinton's first presidential campaign, meanwhile, Chelsea Clinton had campaigned extensively on college campuses and later introduced her mother at the August 2008 Democratic National Convention. Since then, the Little Rock native has tied the knot with investment banker Marc Mezvinsky and given birth to their first daughter, Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky.

Apart from raising the one-year-old Charlotte, Chelsea Clinton has been working for her family's foundation and on promoting her first book, "It's Your World" -- described as a primer on social issues including education, poverty, women's rights, public health and the environment -- which she presented in a 20-city book tour across the United States.
