Johnny Manziel could eventually move to another team after the 2015 NFL season after having another disappointing year with the Cleveland Browns.

Manziel was named starter for their final six games this season but was demoted to third-string position after he was seen in a video partying and holding a bottle of alcohol. The incident happened during their bye week and Manziel reportedly tried to lie about the video.

The demotion stirred speculation that Manziel's time in Cleveland is over. And according to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers are potential landing spots for Manziel if the Browns decide to cut ties with the sophomore quarterback.

Schefter said during an interview on The Dan Patrick Show that the Cowboys could make a strong push to acquire Manziel after the season. He pointed out that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones wanted to draft Manziel in 2014 before team officials opted to pick Zack Martin.

Timing could also be perfect, as the Cowboys look in need of a young quarterback who will eventually replace Tony Romo, who sustained another season-ending injury this season.

"Jerry wanted to draft him and was held at bay by others in the organization who opted and convinced him to go for Zack Martin," Schefter said. "So, if Jerry Jones wanted him that badly and Johnny Manziel is probably going to be shipped out of Cleveland this offseason, Dallas would be one of the two or three logical landing spots."

Aside from the Cowboys, Schefter also mentioned that the San Francisco 49ers could make a move to acquire Manziel in the offseason. The 49ers could look for a new face of their franchise, as they are expected to part ways with Colin Kaepernick, who failed to live up to expectations this season.

"The 49ers, I think, have checked out Johnny Manziel from afar," said Schefter, who pointed out that he has sources linked to the organizations. "Colin Kaepernick has been banished, essentially, from that organization. Nobody expects him back."

The St. Louis Rams were also mentioned as potential suitors. The Rams also reportedly considered picking Manziel during the 2014 NFL Draft before they eventually settled for defensive tackle Aaron Donald.

The Philadelphia Eagles could also be in pursuit of a new quarterback in the offseason. Quarterback Sam Bradford's contract will expire next season, which could make room for Manziel. According to SB Nation, Eagles coach Chip Kelly is known for making "attention-grabbing" deals.
