NBA 2K14 has kept things fresh with new locker codes throughout the basketball season, but as we settle into the spring months, gamers are realizing that they may have seen their last locker code ever.

Ronnie 2K, the NBA 2K14 ambassador who has been the single most vociferous person in the marketing push for the incredibly successful basketball game, announced a new locker code this week but also indicated that in may indeed be the last one. Considering that we've wrapped up the winter months, fans as a whole will be making the shift to baseball video games.

In the meantime, however, the NBA season is not over just yet. Yesterday NBA 2K14 announced a random locker code that provided fans with a special 40 percent off discount on shoes for the day, which could be redeemed if one were to type in the necessary code.

Another locker code, which was announced shortly after, gave fans "9,000 Ruby Iggy's" in reference to Andre Igudala. Fans quickly started posting the notification they received on the game, which told them that they "won a Ruby Andre Iguodala in MyTEAM!"

As if that was not enough new and fresh information for one day, the game kept fans at the edge of their seat with yet another roster update. The update took place on Tuesday, according to Ronnie 2K. NBA 2K14's Twitter feed provided the specifics on the latest players to be affected by the update, saying that it "includes Isaiah Thomas/Lee/Howard/Granger/Griffin/Bogut/Crawford injuries, Gasol/Nash return."
