If you're looking to gift yourself or a fellow audiophile this holiday season, you might want to consider any of the high-quality audio devices listed below. They are available on either Amazon or Google.

Samsung Level On Wireless Headphones

The Level On Wireless Headphones uses intuitive touch controls, which allow users to swipe their fingers up and down the headphone in order to set volume levels. Sliding from front to back changes the tracks. PCMag notes that the device offers distortion-free and distinct audio performance while being housed in a comfortable design. A full charge gives 11 hours of play time. If noise cancelation is turned off, music can be played up to 23 hours. Amazon is offering the device for $250.

Skullcandy Hesh 2.0 Bluetooth Headphones

The Skullcandy's soft leather seal, as seen here, delivers every ounce of sound from its powerful 5-millimeter audio drivers. The device pairs with smartphones, tablets or TV via Bluetooth connection. A full charge ensures 12 hours of non-stop use while calls can be managed by a built-in microphone. The device has an $80 price tag on Amazon.

Chromecast Audio

The Chromecast Audio transforms any standard speaker into a wireless music streaming machine. The tiny hockey puck is powered by a micro-USB charger and connects to any standard speaker via the 3.5-millimeter auxiliary cable on the side. While the audio accessory is plugged in, it grants Wi-Fi access to the speaker.

Users can then use their smartphones to cast their favorite music apps such as Pandora, Spotify or Google Play Music. Chromecast Audio is unlike traditional Bluetooth speakers since users can hold calls on their smartphones without interrupting the cast. The audio accessory retails for $35 on Google.

Sony SRS-X88 Premium Bluetooth Speaker

The SRS-X88 has a five-speaker setup comprising of two super tweeters, two magnetic fluid mid-range drivers and one subwoofer that features dual passive radiators. The device has support for Bluetooth, NFC and can stream music via Wi-Fi. The speaker is on sale on Amazon for $300.

"The SRS-X88 is a Bluetooth speaker designed to be left in one place. Or at least not moved any great distance," said gadget reviewer Guillaume Letoupin of DigitalVersus. "It offers some excellent features, including comprehensive connectivity, support for a large range of different audio file formats and a sound quality that should satisfy most users."

Grain Audio PWS.01 Bluetooth Speaker

The PWS.01 sounds as good as it looks. The PWS.01 sports two two-inch loudspeakers and a passive radiator that employs bass isolation system for crisper overall audio performance. Design-wise, it has a sleek walnut frame with rubber edging that prevents the speaker from moving around while rocking out. The speaker costs $210 on Amazon.
