Fans of pop group Fifth Harmony can get excited because Camila Cabello has revealed that a brand new single will be coming soon.

According to Bustle, during a backstage interview at KIIS FM's Jingle Ball in Los Angeles, the pop singer dished about the group's new music.

"There's this one song that we recorded today that I'm really excited about because, lyrically, I think it's the best of the entire album. I can't say the title, but I'm really excited about it, and it's going to come out pretty soon, which is going to be fun," Cabello said.

The group began recording their sophomore album in September and have been working with a variety of producers and songwriters, reported Billboard.

Norwegian duo Stargate -- who produced "Worth It" -- Mitch Allan and Jason Evigan, and Max Martin collaborated with the group to help them achieve a new mature sound.

While the group is currently coordinating recording in the studio, they have also made several appearances at award shows and the 2015 Jingle Ball.

Meanwhile, Cabello has also worked to promote "I Know What You Did Last Summer," her single with singer Shawn Mendes. Most fans have been supportive of Cabello doing some solo work. Recently, however, one fan questioned Cabello's commitment to the group.

The fan retweeted a photo of Fifth Harmony in the recording studio with Cabello absent. The fan suggested Cabello was out recording music with Shawn Mendes instead of with the group.

Cabello defended herself, replying, "actually I've never missed a 5h recording session or any 5h commitment ever, i was in the studio yesterday too."

The singer went on to explain that she understands fans read gossip and even offered to delete the tweets to keep the fan from getting hate from other Fifth Harmony fans.

"I understand nobody's telling you the real and all you have left to do is assume. but all these assumptions are false," she wrote.
