Although Apple has remained quiet about its specific plans to upgrade its MacBook Pro and MacBook Air laptops, rumors are indicating that the tech giant will release a "lightning quick" MacBook Pro, according to GottaBeMobile.

The MacBook Pro, which is said to be coming in June, will feature a new kind of technology that could improve its performance and increase its battery life.

On the other hand, a new MacBook Air computer is also slated to be released soon and the most circulated rumor is that Apple plans to bring retina screens to the Air. This is already overdue considering that the MacBook Pro has had retina screens for years now.

At this point one of the biggest questions is how Apple will determine new prices if the computers are significantly revamped or improved. Right now the MacBook Pro is considerably more expensive than the cheaper MacBook Air, but both are considered to be top options as a computer. At the very least, it is widely expected that the MacBook Air will increase in price if it comes with the new retina screen.

Among other things, Apple is expected to introduce new iPhones this year. The next iPhone will likely come along with the next operating system, iOS 8. Apple most certainly is hoping for a better turnout for iOS 8 than it had for iOS 7, which was plagued with complaints about poor battery life and various other issues after its release.
