After the successful TV debut of the Victoria's Secret annual runway show last night, Vogue released a special video of a few models or angels including Romee Strijd, Jasmine Tookes, Stella Maxwell and Sara Sampaio, taking on the Tough Mudder Philly Challenge just before gracing the runway for the first time.

Models are, of course, known to be quite physically fit to have the perfect body, especially for the Victoria's Secret brand, which offers lingerie and other sports brassiere for women. But before taking on the runway for the famed brand, Strijd, Tookes, Maxwell and Sampaio took on the very challenging obstacle course in October as featured by Vogue's latest released feature video.

In the video, the newest angels were all in their Victoria's Secret sporty attires to take on the 10-mile course, which required them to climb, crawl and jump their way to the finish line along with the other participants.

The models were seen to have enjoyed their brief time at the obstacle course. Pop sugar reports that the models were even covered in mud since they were crawling on the ground.

"It's teamwork, you need all the girls to help. It makes you close to each other. And you get dirty," Sampaio told Vogue. However, despite the seemingly new environment for the models, they are in fact very exposed to physical activities as they reveal that working out is part of their job to stay in shape.

"It's part of my job," Sampaio told the news agency. "We have to be toned all year long, but we intensify [our workouts] for the show," she added. The show, which was aired on Tuesday evening was a successful one according to The Atlantic featuring the models who bring about their interpretation to female beauty.

And since the runway show had the models wear the brand's lingerie and other products, they had to train hard to attain the body they need to have. "It feels like we're training for the Olympics," a model told the publication.

"I really use every muscle when I'm on the runway-walking with heavy wings you have to really have your body be the strongest that it can be," another model said.

The annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show which was held last month in New York have been one of the most anticipated televised shows "It might be considered the Super Bowl of fashion," one model told the news agency.
