Supermodels Kate Moss and Daria Werbowy took to the beach shores for their photo shoot for French denim label Equipment. The model friends appear in a series of intimate shots, where Moss got close to a topless Werbowy.

Mail Online shared several snaps from the supermodels' photo shoot with Equipment for its spring 2016 campaign ad. Werbowy is topless in all the photos while Moss got to keep her clothes on. One picture shows the friends cuddling on the sand, with Moss giving the camera a fierce look while Werbowy's face and body are almost completely hidden.

Another photo shows the pair on a grassy field. The 41-year-old Moss is lying down on the grass dressed in nude underwear and a white floral top. Meanwhile, a topless Werbowy is in the background leaning against a tree.

The supermodel friends also posed looking like they've just taken a dip in the lake. Moss revealed a bit of side boob in another shot as she leaned on the 32-year-old Werbowy, who had her bare back to the camera. The French fashion house also took to the bedroom to shoot a couple of photos of the pals.

The intimate black-and-white photos made sure to focus on Moss. Werbowy reportedly agreed to stay in the background since she directed the photo shoot herself.

Brett Ramey, vice president of creative at Equipment, told The Telegraph that Moss completely trusted Werbowy during their photo shoot.

"It was amazing to watch their process when it came down to execution time and I think it's clear in the intimacy of the pictures how well they worked together. Daria was the creative director, art director, the photographer and the visionary. Kate was the hair, the makeup, the styling, the driver and the production team all in one. Their dynamic and energy exchange was unlike anything I've ever experienced," Ramey told The Telegraph.

The photos were reportedly taken by Werbowy herself, who is believed to be a skilled photographer. She used her 35mm camera and a timer to shoot the sultry images.

As to why Equipment handed the creative control to the two friends, Ramey said that it stems from their knowledge of the fashion industry and their fame in the fashion world. He told The Telegraph that Werbowy and Moss were given creative control over the label's spring 2016 campaign photo shoot because of the idea that women want to act and dress like them.
