After reports surfaced claiming that the former NBA player Lamar Odom has been released from the hospital in Los Angeles and was moved to a rehabilitation facility for further care, rumors circulated that Odom's wife and "Keeping Up with The Kardashians" star Khloe Kardashian decided to take in Odom at her house instead.

It has been reported by Us Weekly that the former Lakers basketball player was out of the Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles last Wednesday, but reports from Hollywood Life recently surfaced claiming that instead of transferring Odom to a rehabilitation facility, which was supposedly the plan, Khloe took him back to her house.

"[One] reason Khloe decided to bring Lamar home was Rob. They need each other! Khloe knows that with the two of them under the same roof, they will both heal and use each other's energy and strength to get their lives on track," a source told the publication.

Apparently, Robert Kardashian Jr., Kardashian's only brother, who is struggling with weight issues and other matters, remain to be with Kardashian although he's not currently living with her, but he reportedly still continue to be a frequent visitor.

"Rob's already making huge progress and is pitching in to help Lamar walk and helping him eat. They've been watching NBA games together and really bonding. That Khloe's literally turn her home into a sanctuary and healing center for Lamar and Rob. It's temporary. But it's the best decision she could have made," the source further revealed.

Although Kardashian has yet to comment on the current circulating rumor, the reality star, however, is in the center of rumors of taking back Odom in her home because she also previously rescinded her divorce papers that she initially filed.

The 31-year-old Kardashian did so in light of Odom's hospitalization as Odom's health condition at that time remains to be critical and Khloe decided to put a stop on any legal action pending Odom's health condition.

Odom, according to Inquisitr, was hospitalized after a suspected drug overdose since October of last year. He was previously discovered unconscious at a Nevada brothel before being taken to the hospital.

The publication further reported that the district attorney on his case said the evidence failed to prove that Odom used what was speculated to be a dangerous combination of cocaine and a sexual performance-enhancing drug.
