The Glazers family have reportedly lost patience with David Moyes, and the Manchester United boss could be sacked before the English Premier League season ends.

ESPN reported on Monday that the Glazers have already made a decision to sack Moyes, and that his firing is imminent after several meetings took place on Monday morning.

During the meeting, several players reportedly expressed frustration over Moyes, who was personally hired by legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson last summer.

Sources added that the club's owner have been mulling sacking Moyes since Manchester United absorbed a 2-1 loss against Swansea City in the FA Cup on Jan. 5 at Old Trafford.

The Telegraph, which was the first newspaper to report about Ferguson's planned retirement last year, indicated on Monday morning that Moyes could be fired before Saturday.

"The 50-year-old's reign could end before Saturday's Old Trafford encounter with Norwich City if he chooses to seek assurances over his future which executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is unlikely to be able to offer," The Telegraph noted.

On the other hand, the Daily Mail reported that the original plan was to sack Moyes after the season, but his firing could come in the coming days, or even by the end of the day. Daily Mail sources also indicated that Ryan Giggs will take over once Moyes gets his pink slip.

"It is understood that the plan now is to sack Moyes at the end of the season but the situation could now come to a head later on Monday or in the coming days. If the former Everton boss is sacked before the season's end, club legend Ryan Giggs will be asked to take over team affairs," the Daily Mail reported.

The Telegraph added that the club will look for an immediate replacement after the current season with sources saying that Borussia Dortmund Jurgen Klopp could be the top candidate to take over at Old Trafford.

Klopp is favored to land the job in favor of other rumored candidates like Louis van Gaal, Diego Simeone, and Giggs, who is expected to have a strong backing, but his lack of experience could hurt his chances of getting the job.
