Bernie Sanders sure can run...literally.

A video that shows Bernie Sanders making a run for a Capitol train has gone viral, and boy, can he run.

In the viral video, the true Brooklyn native is seen running down the escalator and making his way fast toward a US Senate tram, according to Mashable.

Probably the reason why the video of Bernie Sanders running has gone viral is that it shows the ambitious politician having enough strength to run at such a fast pace.

The Democratic presidential candidate is already 74 years old, but it doesn't mean he can't run, and run fast at that.

Perhaps more surprising than the fact that the 74-year-old presidential candidate is able to run like a superhero is that the video is over two months old already. However, it's only now that the internet has noticed it.

The viral video of Bernie Sanders running to catch the train was recorded and uploaded via YouTube on November 18, 2015, but it started making its rounds on the internet just over the weekend.

According to RT, the reason that Sanders' running video has gone viral is because questions in American media have surfaced regarding his fitness to handle future responsibilities if elected.

In a Politico report last week, Correct the Record PAC founder David Brock, who is also Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton's surrogate, said that he would be releasing an ad that would demand Sanders to release his medical records to the public before the Iowa caucuses take place on February 1.

However, Brock said he never made any such statement. Even if the Politico report wasn't true, Sanders' health has become an issue since then. The fact that he is the oldest candidate for the presidential elections has been put on the spotlight. If he is elected, he would then be the United States' oldest president in history to take oath.

All elections call for its candidates, especially presidential candidates, to prove their strength to the public at some point. Whether making hard political decisions or showing their physical strength, it's up to them.

It just so happened that Sanders decided to show his by running like a man on fire.

Do people believe his strength?

Apparently so.

In the YouTube comments, several people even cheered him on.

YouTuber "Numbuh 5" said "Go Bernie go, you are our only hope!!!" while another commenter with the handle "Singularity Videos" said "Go, Bernie! Go!"

A "Sean Baskerville" said "Guy flies coach and takes trains? I love him more every day" and a "sirchaox1224" exclaimed "I wouldn't have made that train. I'm 29 years old."

A "MrThemeParkAudios" also said "And Hillary says Bernie is not physically fit to be president. What a fucking joke that witch is."
